Times: 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM

Building: Adirondack Hall

Instructor: James Joseph Rosenfield, LHB Soul Center
Explore astrology as a symbolic language used across cultures to examine patterns, cycles and meaning in human experience. Rather than focusing on prediction, this course presents astrology as a reflective and interpretive framework that invites dialogue between personal experience and broader cosmic rhythms.
You'll be introduced to foundational astrological concepts — including planets, signs, houses and cycles — and learn how these symbols can be used for self-observation, reflection and personal insight. Through guided discussion, experiential exercises and chart-based examples, engage astrology as a tool for inquiry, encouraging thoughtful awareness of internal patterns and external influences.
Designed for beginners and curious learners, this course emphasizes critical engagement, reflection and exploration of astrology’s historical, cultural and symbolic dimensions. No prior experience is required.
The instructor has studied astrology as a symbolic, interpretive and historical system for more than 20 years and is certified under master astrologer Annie Botticelli.

Instructor: Linda Tipke, Adirondack Ayurveda
For thousands of years, people have turned to the wisdom of Ayurveda and yoga to achieve optimal health in body, mind and soul. These two ancient sister sciences have been practiced continuously since the dawn of human history. Ayurveda is considered the mother of all healing sciences, and yoga the mother of spiritual science. Ayurveda’s job is to keep our bodies healthy, recognizing that in order to achieve our highest goal — enlightenment — we need a healthy, well-functioning body. Yoga is transformational, a science of self-realization. How do Ayurveda and yoga accomplish this? This tool kit is vast and in essence encompasses all modalities that bring balance and harmony.
