This beginner Spanish course is designed for adults to learn in a supportive, low-stress environment. If you’re looking to converse in French, this semi-immersion course is for you. In a friendly and supportive setting, we focus on real-life authentic conversation topics and situations, with each session including an introduction, guided practice and open discussion. You’ll have plenty of opportunities to speak French in pairs, in small groups and with the entire class.

This course is designed for those with a basic foundation and “working knowledge” of French. Participants should feel comfortable speaking French, even if it's not perfect. We’ll also touch on key grammar points along the way to help you speak more accurately and confidently.

This course emphasizes everyday German and German culture. Learn to pronounce and read German words and sentences, and study some grammatical rules. New skills will be applied in conversations as they would occur in everyday situations. Accommodations will be made for beginning- and intermediate-level students.

In this course, individuals receive complete training by Tri-County Literacy Center staff to begin tutoring an adult student in basic literacy, the English language or both.
